It's super simple. Once you use it, you'll see how easy it is.

2. Select Photo, Boomerang, etc.

3. Pose

4. Select text, email, or airdrop

5. Do it again if you want! There's no limit, guests can use the booth as much as they'd like within the rental period. The more photos, the better!

If someone doesn't like the photo they've taken, there's a retake button, too!

Lux Lite is an unattended booth, but Stephanie (the owner) is available in the exceedingly rare instance assistance would be needed. On wedding days, Stephanie makes rounds to the weddings where the booths are to check in on things and straighten things up if needed.

Why? Our booths are so easy and intuitive to use! It's easier than pumping gas or self-checkout.

We do set it up and pick it up. There is a small sign that comes with the booth that has Stephanie's contact information. We've had it out almost every weekend the past five years, and it's always a blast a weddings!

This booth is an interactive experience for your guests and they have a blast with it (watch the video at the top of this page!) Guests share their images by text, email, or airdrop - physical prints are not available for this booth. Don't let the no-print concept deter you, though! Guests never ask about prints when using this booth, they just enjoy the fun of it!

You're welcome to bring props if you'd like! Ideally we want more faces than props in the photos, so we don't include props in this package.

Not having prints, props, or an attendant keep this booth at a lower price point to rent than our other two booth options (the Printing Booth and the Glam Booth).

Absolutely! You don't have to decide right away (this is something you'll elect later when we send the Booth Prep Questionnaire), but a popular choice with Lux Lite is to do black and white photos. We'll include your initials at the upper left of the images.

I'll break this down in a couple parts, this can vary -

1. Most often we will set up the booth prior to guests arriving, even if we have a later start time. This is preferred, but isn't always necessary - it just depends on where the booth will be set up for the evening.

2. There are some instances where setting up prior to guests arrival isn't necessary. If you elect the three hour package and the booth is only open after dinner, then setting up may happen during dinner if we're set up in a different room from where the guests are eating. In this case, guests wouldn't see us loading in and setting up, so it would be preferred to set up during this time.

The set up time will be finalized closer to the wedding once both of our timelines are complete.

- The booth needs access to a three prong outlet (the booth has been to most venues in the Pittsburgh area, and this hasn't been an issue).

- The booth can not be outside (this include patios, tents, porches, etc. - this is to protect the booth from direct sunlight and weather).

- The footprint of the full set up is about 7ftx7ftx7ft

- This is so important - all backdrop supplied by Lux must be placed along a solid wall. The backdrops don't attach to the wall, but it makes a support system as many guests tend to walk backwards into the backdrops - this this will stop the backdrop from repeatedly getting pushed back.

Some great spots are near the cookie/dessert table, near entry/exit doors, and somewhere near the restrooms or bar. These are all high traffic areas. We don't want to be too out of the way, but don't think guests won't find us - they do! 😊

The Live Gallery is accessible during and after the event. Guests get this link when they text their photo to themselves. We'll email this link to you before and after the event, too. This booth has its on WiFi connection, so photos are typically uploaded immediately. In the event space is underground (lower level ballrooms), or in a place where a WiFi signal is spotty, photos will queue then send once the signal is reconnected.

You can choose to not have a gallery. We do encourage you to have one since guests want to see their photos and the fun from the night! This gallery is only accessible if you used the photo booth or have the direct link.

-Payment is due any time prior to the wedding. The invoice will be sent after the Booth Prep Questionnaire is filled out (this is sent 10 weeks prior to the wedding).

-No deposit is required to book, either. We just need a signed contract to lock in your date.

-The invoice will be sent through PayPal, they keep your payment information private and no account is required if you don't have one. We can also do Venmo, Square, or check.

-6% Sales Tax is added to the invoice per PA state law

Yes! Let's say the booth would be open cocktail hour, then two hours after dinner. That works great!

Please note, the booth can not be moved once set up. But don't let that deter you from breaking up the time. Trust me, guests will seek the booth out 😉 Some DJs discourage the booth from being in a different room, but it's really okay if it is. They'll still go back to the dance floor.

We can do that! If you need anything more than three hours, we'll add $75 per half hour up 4.5hrs. Anything from 5 hours and up will be full reception pricing.

Pricing does not include after party time. If you book full reception, but then want to extend into the after party, that will an additional $75/half hour.
