1.Send an inquiry and I'll let you know if the booth is available.

If it is, I'll send the package/pricing information.

You'll need to have a venue and date finalized prior to booking.

2. If everything looks good, reply to our email chain and let me know you want to lock in your date. I'll send you a contract - this will reserve your date. No deposit is required.

3. For the booth prep I'll send you a Booth Prep Questionnaire to get the booth ready for the reception.

This will have questions such as:

- print design thoughts

- general day of timeline

- backdrop selection

- how many hours you want the booth to run

- where the booth will be located

For the custom print design, we want the those to match your event. If you have a logo, any marketing, or event specific colors those can be used on the print. You can email any files you have (logos, event marketing, fonts, etc).

4. I'll send the invoice after the questionnaire if filled out. This will be due any time prior to the event day. I'll also send a booth recap so we can make any updates and wrap up any loose ends.

The photo booth is a guest-led experience. Over the years we've found guests act more themselves, take more photos, and are more comfortable when someone isn't directly watching them.

The photo booths are all extremely easy to use. The screen tells them exactly what to do (tap to start, take photos, tap print, and that's it!).

Depending on the day, Stephanie (the owner) may be present either partially or for the full event at her discretion, and always available in the exceedingly rare instance help would be needed. There is a small sign that comes with the booth with basic instructions, along with Stephanie's cell number to be texted for immediate assistance if she's not currently present.

- The booth needs access to a three prong outlet (the booth has been to most venues in the Pittsburgh area, and this hasn't been an issue).

- The booth can not be outside (this include patios, tents, porches, etc. - this is to protect the booth from inconsistent lighting, humidity/heat/cold, bugs, wind, etc).

- The footprint of the full set up is about 8ft x 8ft x 8ft.

- ALL backdrop supplied by Lux Photobooth must be placed along a solid wall. The backdrops don't attach to the wall, but it makes a support system as many guests tend to walk backwards into the backdrops - this this will stop the backdrop from repeatedly getting pushed back or guests falling backwards.

You'll have two ways to access your photos:

1. Within 72 hours after the event we'll email you a folder of gently retouched digital images. I use WeTransfer.com to send files and that file is easily downloaded to your computer. Use them as you wish! Every photo take from the booth will be included in this file and they are not watermarked.

2. Both you and event attendees have access to the online gallery for free downloads. Some photos may be omitted (out of respect to your guests that may have taken a photo they probably wouldn't want shared). We do not watermark our photos. Your photos will be password protected - that password will be on the prints.

After a group comes through the booth, each person or couple will get a copy of the print. Let's say four people come through together, each of those four people will get a copy of the print.

Our printing is one of the fastest available for portable printers. It's around 10 seconds per print (one 4x6 print or two 2x6 prints every ten second).

I'll break this down in a couple parts, this can vary -

1. Most often we will set up the booth prior to guests arriving, even if we have a later start time. This is preferred, but isn't always necessary - it just depends on where the booth will be set up for the evening. If it's a semi-casual event, then we'll aim arrive 45/60 minutes prior to the booth start time.

2. There are some instances where setting up prior to guests arrival isn't necessary. If you elect the three hour package and the booth is only open after dinner, then setting up may happen during dinner if we're set up in a different room from where the guests are eating. In this case, guests wouldn't see us loading in and setting up, so it would be preferred to set up during this time.

The set up time will be finalized closer to the event once both of our timelines are complete.

We always break down the booth after the rental period is over, even if the event is still happening.

The booth setup is very minimalistic, so it isn't a distraction to tear down.

No, we can finalize that later. In fact, all the details will be worked on later, at this point you just have to decided which booth style you want when booking (the Glam Booth, Printing Booth, or Lux Lite).

I'll send a Booth Prep Questionnaire at least 10 weeks prior to the event (or when you book). At that time I'll gather the information I need to prep the booth - which includes how many hours you'd like the booth to run, the backdrop selection, print design thoughts, general timeline, booth placement, etc.).

Guests can come through as much as they'd like! The more photos, the better!

We do ask that all young children be accompanied by an adult for their supervision around the photography equipment and if they need assistance, but they are welcomed little guests.

-Payment is due any time prior to the event. The invoice will be sent after the Booth Prep Questionnaire is filled out.

-No deposit is required to book, either. We just need a signed contract to lock in your date.

-The invoice will be sent through Square, they keep your payment information private and no account is required if you don't have one. Square will send you a receipt after payment. We can also do Venmo, PayPal, or check.

-6% Sales Tax is added to the invoice per PA state law unless you are Tax Exempt.

If your organization has a tax exempt status I will need a copy of the Tax Exempt Certificate prior to sending the invoice. This is required to have on file for tax records.

All event attendees that use the booth have access to the online gallery.

There is a small, unobtrusive line that will be on the prints which direct guests where to download their photos. This line is edited out of the prints prior to posting them to the gallery.

Please check it out so you can see what your guests will see and have access to. You will see that most school or company events are password protected.

-This gallery includes a digital copy of the print they received at the reception, and a 4x6 digital of each photo on that print.

-Downloading is free.

-Most often your gallery will be accessible to guests by noon the next day.

-For business and school events, some photos may be omitted if we find them a bit offensive out to respect to the organization.

-If you prefer to not have an online gallery, please let me know. Most guests do like to see the photos from the event and ask me where they can find them online, so I do encourage you to have one.

Yes! Let's say the booth would be open a mix&mingle hour, then two hours after dinner. That works great! We ask that there be no more than one hour of down time when breaking up the timeframe.

Please note, the booth can not be moved once set up. But don't let that deter you from breaking up the time. Trust me, guests will seek the booth out 😉 If there's a DJ, some will discourage the booth from being in a different room, but it's really okay if it is. They'll still go back to the dance floor.
